The Orca directional kiteboard is designed to offer the feel of a “real” surfboard. From high-flying aerialists to modern-day soul surfers, intermediate and expert riders, everyone will enjoy a ride on the Orca. It is a reliable board with excellent control in all conditions. The wider outline helps the board to plane easily and maintains speed through the flatter sections of a wave. The squash tail allows more drive and stability on the turns, making it effortless to maneuver, while the quad fin set-up delivers a smooth glide, keeping the board steady in the waves.
Using the highest quality materials available, our own specially formulated kiteboard foam core, and with our precise measuring system, we are able to produce a world-class board with an unparalleled balance of performance, optimal flex, strength, and durability.
New to the Orca is the introduction of Aramid fibers in the construction.
We found carbon too stiff, that’s where our new Aramid fibers Technologies improved the performance of our directional kiteboards. The diagonally crossed Aramid fibers allow for flex to occur in the tail, rail, and any other part of the board. It doesn’t provide as much impact resistance as Vector carbon, but it does allow for a more natural flex pattern.
Aramid fibers have high-performance properties, are more flexible than carbon, and improves flex memory, improve point-load on impacts and reduce core-crush.
We do not claim that our directionals are indestructible; they are alive under your feet!!!
