Vanhunks Boarding offers clients direct EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) payments, banking details of which will be issued via email on your invoice on confirmation of your order.
Vanhunks Boarding takes no responsibility in terms of credit card payments for goods purchased and does not offer direct credit card payment methods as an option. Clients wishing to purchase by means of credit card is advised to do so via PayPal payment method. Please note that a credit card transaction fee is billable for the client’s account in accordance with PayPal and First National Bank’s rates.
The supply of goods, products and services by Vanhunks Boarding is subject to availability. Where products may be unavailable or take longer than 14 days for delivery and in which case (barring where stock is discontinued prior to site updates) the client does not wish to wait any longer for receipt thereof, Vanhunks Boarding will refund the client for the items in question within 14 days of confirmation of payment.
You can return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Unless otherwise noted, the refund will be for the full value of the returned items. Courier, delivery and handling fees will not be refunded.
Products can be returned direct to Vanhunks Boarding only if Vanhunks Boarding provides a Return Manufacturer Authorization (RMA) in advance. The Return Manufacturer Authorization must be clearly labelled on the outside of the package, or the package will be refused and returned to you. Vanhunks Boarding is not liable for loss of items returned without an RMA in advance. All merchandise with an RMA must be shipped back to Vanhunks Boarding within 7 days of the date that the RMA was issued (you may ship by any method you choose). Please retain your shipping confirmation for proof of shipping within 7 days of RMA creation until you have received a refund or exchange from Vanhunks Boarding for the returned product. Any return that is not shipped within the 7 day window will be refused, and the RMA will be null and void.
TO GET AN RMA NUMBER, FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Complete the Warranty claim form on the Vanhunks Boarding web site. The RMA number will be send to you via email within 48 hours.
- Secure your equipment inside the original shipping box. If the original packaging materials are unavailable, you must obtain and use similar packaging materials and make every effort to ensure that the product is not damaged during shipping. Make sure to include all packaging, including any protective wrapping. Please also include a copy of the original packing slip with your return.
- Write your RMA number on the box in LARGE letters next to the shipping address. For example, “RMA 1140.”

Any unauthorized or improperly packaged merchandise will be returned to sender.
Items not purchased directly from Vanhunks Boarding (via www.vanhunksboarding.com) still receive the same Fair and Reasonable Timeframe Warranty, but are warranted through the original place of purchase only. Please contact the original place of purchase for warranty claims. Again, the 30-Day No Questions Asked 100% Guarantee is for Online purchases only.
Vanhunks Boarding does not charge any type of fee for cancellations if requested before we issue delivery instructions to our warehouse. We deliver most items the same day the order is placed. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that your order will be cancelled before delivery.
In order to help us cancel your order before we begin the delivery process, please contact our Customer Service Department by email (email@example.com). In the event your order has already been sent, we will be happy to accept a return under the conditions of returning merchandise (see above)
A defective item is one that is inoperable but has no apparent damage. If you receive defective merchandise, please email Vanhunks Boarding for assistance.
While it is unlikely that your items will be damaged during delivery, it can happen from time to time. Vanhunks Boarding does everything possible to ensure the safe delivery of items purchased from us.
However, in the unlikely instance of damage occurring during delivery, it is the customer´s responsibility to notify the courier delivery service or Postal service and Vanhunks Boarding immediately. If you notice any visual damage to a box when you receive it, we recommend inspecting the contents immediately to ensure they have arrived undamaged and that no items are missing. Where possible, you should ask the driver to document that the box arrived damaged. Often the delivery service provider will want to inspect the box and packaging materials, so be sure to retain everything until instructed otherwise by the delivery service provider and Vanhunks boarding.
If the damaged item is found after the driver has left your premises, contact the delivery service provider at once. Please save all packaging material and paperwork for the order if delivery damage is a possible issue.
Vanhunks Boarding accepts no responsibility for user-initiated damage and/or loss of parts incurred during operation or use of the product.
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is the Republic of South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR), which is converted to USD in terms of PayPal and processed through First National Bank. Slight variations in accordance with the exchange rates may be applicable and the client is advised hereto. Vanhunks Boarding will at all times endeavour not to have this impact on client payments other than perhaps the very smallest of deficits by the exchange rate.
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Vanhunks Boarding chooses: 14 Beach Boulevard, Table View, 7441, Cape Town, South Africa as its domicile citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court cases, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
Vanhunks Boarding may in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

Vanhunks Boarding (Pty) Ltd Warranty Claim Procedure
Vanhunks Boarding warrants that this product, when it is purchased from an authorised Vanhunks Boarding dealer by a retail customer, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase by the original retail customer. This warranty is solely for the benefit of the original retail purchaser and may not be assigned. For retail customer Limited Warranty claims, proof of purchase from an authorised Vanhunks Boarding dealer is required. If the date of purchase cannot be established, Vanhunks Boarding will make a determination based upon on the last production year of the particular model, or on the condition of the equipment claimed.
If you have any questions about the Vanhunks Boarding Limited Warranty or procedures for making claims there under, please contact Vanhunks Boarding at www.Vanhunksboarding.com. The Vanhunks Boarding Warranty Centre will determine if a product is covered under this Limited Warranty. If covered, Vanhunks Boarding will, at the company’s sole discretion, repair or replace the product in question. All returns must be made through Vanhunks Boarding authorised dealers. Vanhunks Boarding does not accept returns directly from customers. Customers must call for a Return Authorisation Number before returning any product under this Limited Warranty. All authorised returns must be sent to Vanhunks Boarding’s Warranty Centre at the country’s main distribution warranty office, freight prepaid. Vanhunks Boarding will pay the freight for the return shipment. Return shipment will either be consolidated together with the authorised retailer next shipment, or paid by Vanhunks Boarding, at Vanhunks Boarding’s sole discretion.
Any repair or replacement of any product under this Limited Warranty is not available for ordinary wear and tear, including scratches or paint chipping, or for any damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorised modification or repairs, accident, heat, excessive exposure to sunlight, excessive exposure to cold, improper handling, storage, maintenance or care; incorrect setup, use in commercial, rental or teaching environments; use in reef waves, shore break or off the water; any blow or impact with a hard object or any other irresponsible use.
THE FOREGOING LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE, WRITTEN, ORAL OR IMPLIED AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. IN NO EVENT SHALL VANHUNKS BOARDING BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, STATUTORY OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE including, without limitation, loss to property other than this product, loss of use of said product, or other property or other economic losses. Vanhunks Boarding shall not be liable for contribution or indemnification, whatever the cause. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and/or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation and exclusion may not apply to particular customers. Vanhunks Boarding’s obligations under any warranty shall be limited, to the greatest extent allowed by law, as provided in this Vanhunks Boarding Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights, which vary from one jurisdiction to another. Vanhunks Boarding assumes responsibility for return shipping and insurance costs to the customer.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO RETURN A PRODUCT UNDER WARRANTY:
- Your Vanhunks Boarding product carries a 6-month limited warranty and all claims will be assessed on their own merits. We apply a simple common-sense approach to claims.
- Complete the online claim form (Link to warranty claim form) making sure that all the required fields are accurately filled out.
- Once the form has been filled out, click the “Submit Form” button. Make sure you send the original proof of purchase with your product (ensure you make a copy of your proof of purchase for yourself). If you are returning more than one product you will need to submit a claims form for each product
- Make sure when you send the product back to us, it is in suitable wrapping and boxed to ensure that is not damaged during shipping. Ensure your return address is on the box with your name and surname. Ship the package using a traceable source (i.e. FEDEX, SKY NET, DHL, UPS or TNT). Vanhunks Boarding is not responsible for products lost or damaged in shipping.
- You will receive a confirmation email immediately after submitting the form. We will also contact you once we have received your product to let you know the status of your warranty claim.
The warranty ONLY applies to products bought directly from us or from an Authorised dealer. Second-hand purchases, or E-Bay purchases (and the like) are not covered under warranty.
- Alterations or repairs not done or authorised by Vanhunks Boarding.
- Damage from sunlight or improper recreational use or care.
- Warranty request without proof of purchase.
- Products used for promotional use.
- Fair wear and tear.
SUP’s / KITEBOARDS / SURFBOARDS
- Damage or defects caused by, collisions, abuse, misuse or accidental damage.
- Damage or defects caused by transport, loading, unloading, dropping, out of water handling or similar.
- Damage or defects caused by non recreational use, rental centres and lessons
- Damage or defects caused by exposure to temperatures over 70 and under 0 degrees Celsius.
- Damage or defects caused by nature (fire or any natural disasters)
- Damage or defects caused by repairs.
- Damage or defects caused by usage of the board after a claim is reported.
- Damage or defects caused using any race related board in surf conditions.
- Damage or defects caused by the use of a larger fin than specified.
- Damage or defects caused by storage of the board in closed, damp conditions (example: a wet board bag)
- Damage or defects caused by storage or transport of the board with a closed air-valve. (If applicable)
- Damage or defects caused by a failure to close the air-valve during use.
This warrantee does not cover:
- Wear and tear
- Improper installation of accessories
- Improper foot positioning when landing high impact tricks
- Intentional breakage
The following is considered normal wear & abuse:
- Tail and nose wear from dragging the nose and tail on the ground
- Edge chipping from ground, pavement or walls
- Warping from exposure to heat, rain, snow or immersion in water
