Care & Maintenance
Rinse your Manatee with fresh water after each use, particularly after exposure to salt water, and allow the kayak and accessories to dry before storage.
Store the kayak in a shaded area and out of prolonged direct sunlight where possible. Support the hull evenly on its side or on a suitable kayak rack to help maintain its shape.
Do not hang or secure the kayak through the carry handles, and avoid overtightening transport or storage straps, particularly in hot conditions.
Periodically inspect the hull, seat, accessory tracks, rod holders, handles and fittings for signs of wear or damage. Keep all fittings clean and free from sand, salt and debris.
