Its wide double-pontoon hull creates a stable, confidence-inspiring platform, while the raised adjustable aluminium seat, generous storage and configurable deck provide the comfort and versatility to stay out longer.

Keep Your Shad Adventure-Ready

Rinse your kayak and accessories with fresh water after use, particularly after exposure to salt water. Allow everything to dry before long-term storage.

Store the kayak out of direct sunlight when not in use and, where possible, support the hull evenly rather than leaving it resting on a single pressure point for extended periods.

Before heading onto the water, check the hull, drain plug, seat, rudder system, fittings and accessories to make sure everything is secure and functioning correctly.

If using a Fin Drive or electric propulsion system, remove it before beaching or entering very shallow water to help prevent damage from sand, rocks or underwater obstacles.

For long-term storage, remove loose accessories and keep the kayak in a cool, dry and shaded location.
